A HINT TO THE COUNTY COUNCIL.

(TO THE EDITOR OK THE DUNSTAN TIMES.) Sir—As the County Council will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, I trust the question of restoring our bridge will be brought forward. If any further proof were necessary for the same, surely the unfortunate accident to the cattle which crossed the river on Tuesday must remove all doubt of its necessity. The traffic over the river is very heavy, and 1 trust my fellow-towns-men will not let the matter drop till they see the work in progress. I hope to see quite a rush among the Councillors at tho meeting as to who shall have tho honour of initiating the work.—l am, &c , One of Us.
