Sire, “ Baron 2nd, of Drnmlanrig ” bred by the Duke op BucrLEur.ii, and imported by Messrs Cargill and Anderson in 1875. He took first prize at Glasgow ; first prize at Sanqigibar, and first prize at Paisley as a yearling Bull in 1874. Grandsire, “ Baron of Drnmlanrig ” took first prize at Ayr ; first prize at Sanqnahar, and first prizes at Thornhill as a yearling, two-year-old, and aged Bull. Grand Dam, “ Tibbie ” bred by the Duke or Buccleugit, took first prize at Galston as a year old heifer ; first prize at Sanquahar as a two-year-old, and gained several first prizes as Cow in calf.
