ACCIDENT AT OPHIR.
A correspondent, telegraphing yesterday from Ophir, says:—On Wedne* lay .after, noon a little hoy about years old, son of .Samuel Leadc, hail a very narrow escane from being killed by a kick from a horse belonging to Mr Pitches. Tne horse was straying about c ose to the Colonial Bank, and the hoy, it is suppose 1, must have been ( try : ng to drive him away He was nicked no by Mrs Johnson, who hj ard his cry. Four front te th in his upper jaw were completely k ocked out, and those in the lower jaw were broken off His mouth w s badly lacerated, there is a slight wound on the right lyebrow, and his left, temple bears the print of the heel of the hors-'s shoe The poor little fellow bears his injuries bravely, and appears to be getting on remaikaldy well.
