The Minister of Public Works in reply to a deputation said that the portion of the Strath T-reiri line of railway running through Mullojky Gully, with tire exception ot one Section, which will he construetel by the unemployed, will he open to tend rers during the first week in February, and that the construction of the other portions of the line would be taken into consideration. The Government intend asking V. Fyke, Esq., M.H.R. for the Dnnstau District, to turn the first sod of the line.
