Pedigree. Young Reformer, by Emperor, was bred y the late Mr Donald Grant, Kirklands ; am Gentle, by Champion; Champion, red by Mr Anderson, Drumore, Wigtouhire, Scotland. Champion, when a yearmg, gained two first prizes ; as a two-yeai Id, four first and two second prizes ; when i three year old a premium of 40 sovereigns t Glasgow ; when four years old, a prenium of 50 sovereigns given by the Kircud.right Agricultural Society; and when five vears old got L4O premium at Glasgow! he Iso got a silver medal for thefive best yearings got by any horse in 1859. Also a numier of first prizes in Australia, and first prize at the Taieri, the only year he was shown. Gentle, dara Betty, was bred by Captain Gardner, Daudeuong, Victoria; sire, the imported Clydesdale horse Reformer, dam, Bess, imported by Captain Gardner. Betty gained first prize as a one-year old in Melbourne, in 1854 ; second, as a two-year old in 1855 ; and first, as a three-year old in 1856—a1l in Melbourne. Reformer is a brown horse, 161 hands high, rising four year old. Terms - - - L 3 10s. Groom’s fee 55., payable at first service. A paddock at Blackstone Hill will be provided for marcs coming from a distance. Every attention paid to mares but no responsibility. Js THE THOROUGH BRED ENTIRE HORSE, ARCHITECT WILL travel this Season in the Cromwell ami Dnnstan Districts, and stand every alternate week at Blacks, at Mr Leask’s Farm, where a securely fenced and well-watered Paddock of 150 acres of English grass, (the property of Mr W. Leask, and known as the best paddock at Blacks) is provided for Mares. Architect is a rich bay, with black points, stands ICi hands, with great bone and substance, a splendid temper and grand constitution. He has proved a sure foalgetter, and his stock show great substance and quality. Mechanic, a 4-year-old son of Architect, was sold last summer for Ll2O. Pedigree. Architect by Peter Wilkins, dam Governess by Conrad, from Bequest by Snnnzer, from Medea by Mozart, from Whiz-gig by Whalebone. Conrad by Camel by Whalebone.
