On October 15th a match was commenced at Detrctit-a'gainst Eighteen of that city. The latter went in first, and only scored 32 in their first innings. The Australians then went to the wickets, and finished their first innings, scoring 184 runs. On the following day the Detroit players in their second innings only scored 81, the Australiana consequently winning' the match in openings, with 71 mat to eptre.—Melbourne Argus. ... .
