Loxno.g, August 5. The Australian Eleven are playing a Twenty-two at Buxton. The -first innings of Buxton closed for 77. " Snnffiirth was. very destructive, taking 12 wickets for 28 runs. The Australians ma J e P7 in their first innings, the top score being made by A. Rannei man, 13. 1 ■ The second innings of the Twenty-two closed for 131. In the Australian second innings, one was out for 17.

August S. The Australians played a one clay’s match ye.strrda.y against Ei diteen of Burnley, at Burnley, in Lancashire. - Tho Eighteen made 102 in their first innings, and the Australians lest nine wickets for 40. The game, resulted in a draw. Tho attendance was large.
The Australian Eleven played against an eighteen of Dudley, Their first innings closed for 39, and the first innings of their opponents for 33. The bowling of tho Australians was very effective. Boyle took twelve wickets for 19 runs and Garrett, five wickets for 12 runs. In their second innings the Australians had three men out fur 23 runs. The wicket was dead.
There was a largo attendance at the match.
