It is certain that Aiistria either annexes or directly controls Bosnia and Herzegovina. Montenegro reserves the port of Autivari. Russia and Roumania will probably divide Bessarabia. The Emperor of Russia has informed the Congress in reference to the Earl of Beaconsfield’s suggestion for the conditional acceptance of the arrangements agreed "to by Russia, England, and Austria regarding Bulgaria, that question may be amicably arranged, provided the administrative autonomy of South Bulgaria be secured, and no Turkish troops be quartered therein. June 25. Congress has agreed to the principle upon which the settlement of the Bulgarian question is to be effected, and has also decided that all Russian troops shall evacuate Bulgaria and Roumeiia in nine months. June 26. The Congress has completed its arrangements regarding Bulgaria. The Danubian and Bulgarian fortresses 'fire to be dis-’ mantled.
Austrian occupation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is imminent. The Congress has also decided that the fortresses of Varna and Shurala shall be evacuated forthwith, and that for each contemporary Commissioners-Gencral shall be appointed by Russia and the Porte. London, June 24.
A State funeral was given to the ex-King of Hanover, who was buried in St. George’s Uhapel at Windsor to-day. The deliberations of Congress continue. The general principles of the Bulgarian question have been settled. Mr Stanton was consecrated at St. Paul’s Bishop of North Queensland. June 25. The Australian colonists at Home have arranged to give a banquet to the Australian Cricketers on July 23. The Duke of Manchester will preside. June 26 The Prussian Government have restored to the Duke of Cumberland the sequestrated property of his father, the ex-King of Hanover. The Queen of Spain is dead. [Queen Mercedes, of Spain, was the second daughter of the Due Do Montpensier, by his wife the Infanta Marie Louise Ferdinands De Bourbon. She was married to King Alphonso, her cousin, in January last, and the ceremony was the cause of great national rejoicing.] Berlin - , June 27. Prince Gortsohakoff made a most impressive pacific speech at the Congress to-day, to which Lord Beaoonsliold replied. June 27. The Government have commenced a prosecution against a writer in the Foreign Office for stealing the Anglo-Rnssian agreement that was published by the Globe. Congress decided yesterday that Varna shall be commercially a free port. Juno 29. Congress has discussed the question of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Austrian occupation is believed imminent.
