PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that a joint petition of the Vincent County Council and the Council of the Borough of Clyde has been ( !fonvarded to His Excellency the Governor, praying him to dissolve the Corporation of the Borough of Clyde upon the terms and conditions contained in part XIV. of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1876,” and that, if within three months after the publication of this notice, one-fourth of the ratepayers of the County or one fourth of the burgesses of the Borough do not petition the Governor praying him not to dissolve the Corporation of the Borough, the Governor in Council may, by proclamation, declare the Corporation of the Borough to be dissolved.
