Arrangements are being made tor an expeditionary force to the East. Sixty thousand men can bo landed in Turkey in a month. Napier’s appointment to the chief command has caused great excitement at St.. Petersburg. Prince Bismark declares that Germany will in no way interfere with the Powers interested in the Eastern question. The Guards have been raised to war strength. The War Office arc inviting tenders for one hundred and fifty thousandd Martiny H-nry’s rifles, and an immense quantity of stores. The Admiralty have purchased the. Japanese and Brazilian ironclads in the river Thames. The Star publishes the fnil terms of the treaty of peace between Russia and Turkey, which is far more sweecpiug and exacting than at first supposed. ° i
