MEETING OF THE PYKE TESTIMONIAL COMMITTEE.
—o— A meeting of the Pyke Testimonial Committee was held in the Library Hall, Clyde, on Tuesday evening last. Presenr— Messrs S. Welsford (in the Chair) Samson, Theyers, Cambridge, Naylor, Beck, Cameron and the Secretary, Mr F. G. Qdell. Proposed by Mr Samson, seconded by Mr Cambridge - -That the Subscription Lists bo closed on Saturday, the 16th of March, and that the Secretary be instructed to write to each list-holder to that effect. Carried. Proposed by Mr Cameron, seconded by Mr Theyers—That the presentation take place on Monday, March 25, 1878. Proposed by Mr Cambridge, seconded by Mr Theyers—That the .presentation ho made in Alexandra by Mr James Samson. —Carried. The meeting then closed with a vote of thanks to the Chairman.
