IN Pursuance* of the 14 th Section oi the “Licensing Act 1873, Amendment Act, 1874,’’ I, hereby give notice that the ‘QUARTERLY LICENSING MEETING For the District of Town of Clyde, : -anil Districts of 'Clyde and Blacks, will bo held on TUESDAY, the sth day of MARCH, 1878, in the Court House, Clyde, at the hour of NOON - ;' [Note. —Applications for Blacks must be lodged at Clyde.] For the District and Town of Alexandra, and' District of Alexandra, will be held on TUESDAY, the sth day of MARCH, 1678, in the Court-house, Alexandra, at the hour of N OON ; For the District of Town of Ros •burgh, and District of Roxburgh, will be held on TUESDAY, the sth day of MARCH, 1878, in the Court House, Rox■f burgh, at the'hour of NOON; For the purpose of taking into consideration all Applications for Certificates for such Licenses as are authorised to be granted at the said meeting of the Licensing Court, and the -Transfer, or Renewal, or Removal of Licenses, of which due notice shall have been given to mo, for the aforesaid Districts in which the promises in ve•npcct of which such Application is made arc situated respectively. PROOF having 1 can given to the Assessment Court for the Borough of Alexandra that failure has been made to prepare Valuation Lists of the rateable property in said Borough, within the time required hv the Rating Act. 1876, I hereby notify that under the 28th Section of the said Act, I have appointed Valuers to prepare such Lists.
