THE PURE BRED CLYDESDALE ENTIRE, LOUS AN TAM "ITT ILL Stand this Season at J. VV Ceossan’s Farm, Bald Hill Flat. Loudan Tam is thoroughly staunch and quiet in harness, and a first-class worker. Loudan Tam is a rich bay horse, rising 7 years old, short and compact, with fine flat bone, and stands 17 hands high. He was bred by Mr Robert Robson, of Green Lee, Lovell’s Flat, out of his prize mare Jessie, and gained the first prize at the Tokomairiro Agricultural Society’s Show in 1871, as a one year-old. J essie was bred in Tasmania, and imported by James Stewart, Esq., and sho has gamed several first and second prizes at Tokomairiro Shows, both as a brood and yeld mare. Her sire was tho imported horse Sir Colin Campbell, and as a Clydesdale mare she is second to none in Otago. Loudan Tam’s sire was the celebrated horse Marquis. A paddock will be provided free for mares from a distance. All care taken, but no responsibility. Terms, £4, payable on or before Ist February, 1877—after which an extra £1 will be charged. THE CELEBRATED CLYDESDALE ENTIRE, GLEN GARRY WILL travel this Season between Speargrass Flat and the Beaumont. Glengarry was bred by Messrs Boyd Brothers, North Taiori. He is a rich dapplo brown, and stands 174 bands high. His immense strength of bone, muscular powor, excellent temper and superior action, have constituted him a general favorite. He has proved himself a sure foal-getter Glengarry is by the far-famed horse Blackleg, who was never beaten in Scotland, and who was sold for LSOO to go to Victoria. His dam, Fan, was bred by D. Williamson, Esq., Moonie Ponds, Victoria, out of a pure-bred Clydesdale mare, imported from Scotland, and the winner of many prizes in Victoria. Teems : £3 Ids, payable before Ist February, 1878. Young Clyde is a dark chesnnt, 18 hands high, rising 10 years old, of immense bone and sinew, and good tempered. Having travelled the Black’s district for five years in succession be has, beyond doubt, proved himself the best foal getter in the Province. Ho is also favorably known in Lawrence and surrounding districts, where he travelled for several seasons. As to his pedigree comment is unnecessary, his stock comparing well with any in the Province. A 200-Acre Paddock on Olassford’s Swamp, the praperty of Mr P. Harrington, will he provided for Mares. The above is securely fenced. All care taken, bnt no responsibility. TERMS - - £3 10s.
