THE CLYDESDALE ENTIRE HORSE BEIT LOMOND WILL Travel this Season the Dunstan District, including Clyde, Alexandra, Blacks, and St. Bathans. Beit Lomond is a beautiful Dark Bay, with black points ; was foaled 25th February, ISC9 ; stands 16i hands high ; Sire, Sir Benjamin. Sir Benjamin by the imported horse, Ben Lomond ; Sir Benjamin’s dam wasimported from Scotland by Richard Brodio, Esq.; Young Ben Lomond’s dam, Blossom, was by Messrs MTntoshs’ imporported horse Prince Charlie; Blossom’s dam iiy E. Brodie’s imported mare Nell. This shows that Young Ben Lomond is bred from imported stock—both sire and dam’s side. His stock have taken Ist prizes at the Blueskin Annual Show in 1573, 1874, and 1875, against ail comers. A one-year-old Filly by him took first prize at Palmerston, in 1876. ILL travel this season between Blacks and Alexandra, visiting Wai Keri Keri and Clyde. Young Clyde is a dark chesnut, 18 hands high, rising 10 years old, of immense bone and sinew, and good tempered. Having travelled the Black’s district for five years in succession he has, beyond doubt, proved himself the best foal getter in the Province. He is also favorably known in Lawrence and surrounding districts, where lie travelled for several seasons. As to bis pedigree comment is unnecessary, his stock comparing well with any in the Province. A POO-Acrc Paddock on Olassford’s Swamp, the praperty of Mr P. Harrington, rill be provided for Mares.
