Sir Benjamin by the imported horse, Bon Lomond ; Sir Benjamin’s dam was imported from Scotland by Richard Brodie, Esq.; Young Ben Lomond's dam, Blossom, v.'as by Messrs MTutoshs’ imporported horse Prince Charlie; Blossom’s dam by R. Brodie’s imported mare Noll. This shows that Young Ben Lomond is bred from imported stock—both sire and dam's side. His stock have taken Ist prizes at the Blueskin Annual Show in 1873, 1874, and 1875, against a',l comers. A one-year-old Filly by him took first prize at Palmerston, in IS7G. Having travelled the Black’s district for five years in succession lie has, beyond doubt, proved biraself the best foal getter in (he Province. He is also favorably known in Lawrence and surrounding districts, where ho travelled for several seasons. As to his pedigree comment is unnecessary, his stock comparing well with any in the Province.
