THE CLYDESDALE ENTIRE HORSE BEIT LOMOND WILL Travel this Season the Dunstan District, including Clyde, Alexandra, Blacks, and St. Balkans. Ben Lomond is a beautiful Dark Bay, with black points ; was foaled 25th February, 1869 ; stands 164 hands high ; Sire, Sir Benjamin. Sir Benjamin by the imported horse, Ben Lomond ; Sir Benjamin’s dam wasimported from Scotland by Richard Brodie, Esq.; Young Ben Lomond’s dam, Blossom, was by Messrs M‘lntoshs’ imporported horse Prince Charlie ; Blossom’s dam by K. Brodie’s imported mare Nell. This shows that Young Ben Lomond is bred from imported stock—both sire and dam’s side. His stock have taken Ist prizes at the Blueskin Annual Show in 1873, 1874, and 1875, against ail comers. A one-year-old Filly by him took first prize at Palmerston, in 1876. THE CLYDESDALE ENTIRE HORSE YOUNG- CLYDE. WILL travel this season between Blacks and Alexandra, visiting Wai Keri Keri and Clyde. Young Clyoe is a dark chesnut, 18 hands high, rising 10 years old, of immense bone and sinew, and good tempered. Having travelled the Black’s district for five years in succession he has, beyond doubt, proved himself the best foal getter in the Province. He is also favorably known in Lawrence and surrounding districts, where he travelled for several seasons. As to his pedigree comment is unnecessary, his stock comparing well with any in the Province. A 200-Acre Paddock on Glassford’s Swamp, the property of Mr P. Harrington, will be provided for Mares. The above is securely fenced. All oare taken, but no responsibility. TERMS • - £3 10s.
