Yousg Reformer, by Emperor, was bred by the late Mr Donald tyrant, Kirklands ; dam Gentle, by Champion ; Champion, bred by Mr Anderson, Dnnnore, Wigtonshire, Scotland. Champion, when a yearling, gained two first prizes ; as a twoyear old, four first and two second prizes ; when a three-year old a premium of 40 sovereigns at Glasgow ; when four-years old a premium of 50 sovereigns given by the Kircudbright Agricultural Society; and when five-years-old got L4O premium at Glasgow ; he also got a silver medal for the five best yearlings not by any horse in 1859. Also, a number of first prizes in Australia, and first prize at the Taieri, the only year he was shown. Gentle, darn Betty, was bred by Captain Gardner, Dandenong, Victoria, sire, the imported Clydesdale horse’ Reformer, dam, Bess, imported by Captain Gardner. Betty gained Hist prize as a one-year old in Melbourne, in 1854 ; second, as a two-year old, in 1855 ; and first, as a three-year old, in 1850—all in Melbourne. THE PURE BRED CLYDESDALE ENTIRE, LOUS AIT T All WILL Stand this Season at J. Ckossan’s Farm, Bald Hill Flat. Loud am Tam is thoroughly staunch and ■quiet in harness, and a first-class worker. Loubau Tam is a rich bay horse, rising 7 years old, short and compact, with fine fiat bone, and stands 17 hands high. He was bred by Mr Robert Robson, of Green Lee, Lovell’s Flat, out of his prize mare Jessie, and gained the first prize at theTokomairiro Agricultural Society’s Show in 1871, as a one year-old. Jessie was bred in Tasmania, and imported by James Stewart, Esq., and she has gained several first and second prizes at Tokomairiro Shows, both as a brood and yeld mare. Her sire was the imported horse Sir Colin Campbell, and as a Clydesdale mare she is second to none in Olago. Loudan Tam’s sire was the celebrated horse Marquis. A paddock will be provided free for mares from a distance. All care taken, but no responsibility. Terms, £4, payable on or before Ist February, 1877—after which an extra £1 will be charged. He is a rich dapple brown, and stands 174 hands high. His immense strength of bone, muscular power, excellent temper and superior action, have constituted him-a general favorite. He has proved himself a sure foal-getter Olkvoartiv i< by the far-famed horse Blackleg, who was never beaten in Scotland, and who was sold for LiiOU to go to Victoria. His dam, Fan, was bred by D. Williamson, Esq.. Moonie Ponds, Victoria, out of a pure-bred Cly 'esdale mare, imported from Scotland, ami the winner of many prizes in Victoria. Thumb : £3 10s, payable before Ist February, 1878.
