Sir Benjamin by the -imported horse, Ben Lomond ; Sir Benjamin’s dam wasimporleil from Scotland by Richard Brodie, Esq.; Young Ben Lomond’s dam, Blossom, was by Messrs MTntoshs’ imporported horse Prince Charlie ; Blossom’s dam oy R. Biodie’s imported mare Nell. This show’s that Young Ben Lomond is bred from imported stock—both sire and dam’s side. His stock have taken Ist prizes at the Blueskin Annual Show in 1573, 1874, and 1875, against ail comers. A one-year-old Filly by him took first prize at Palmerston, in 1876. Young Clyde is a dark chesnut, 18 hands high, rising 10 years old, of immense bone and smew, and good tempered. Having travelled the Black’s district for five years in succession he has, beyond doubt, proved himself the best foal getter in the Province. He is also favorably known in Lawrence and surrounding disfc-icts, whore he travelled for several seasons. As to his poligree comment is unnecessary, his stock comparing we.l with any in the -Province. A 200-Acre Paddock on Glassford’s Swamp, the property of Mr P. Harrington, K’ill bo provided for Mares.
