WASTE LAND BOARD.

At the weekly meeting of the Waste Lands Board, held on the 17th instant, the following business was transacted : An application to purchase under the deferred payment lease was appoved—Thomas Mee. sections 36, 37 and -38, block 11., Blaokstone. The Town C’erk of Alexandra requested that block XlX.'might be reserved as a site .for a dam to supply the town with water. 11 was resolved to recommend the Government to reserve the land. The Board considered a report by the Chief Surveyor on the request of Chee Fat, and Ten Yen, to purchase sections 1 to 8, block XXIlt., Roxburgh, together with a letter from the Town Clerk of Roxburgh on th* subject of a statement made by the applicants, to the effect that they had leased , the land. It was resolved that the land should be put up for sale at L 8 per section, in accordance with 'the Surveyor’s report. The following agricultural bases were approved T.
