That the persons signing such PETITION, or some of them, are not entitled so to sign, 2nd. That such PETITION is not signed by three-Bfths of the County Electors of the said two Ridings. 3rd. That such PETITION has not been publicly notified as required by sub-section two, section fourteen of “ The Counties’ Act, 1876.” 4 th. That the statements in such PETITION are untrue. OTAGO WASTE LANDS’ ACT, 1875. (Section 65, Sub-section 1.) •(10th Schedule.) District of the Dunstan. Clyde, July 27, 1877. To the District Land Officer, Clyde I HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a water-race in Tiger Hill District, for the purpose of driving a Flour Mill, commencing at a point on Spottis Creek, about half a mile above the bridge at the junction of the two branchesof Spottis Creek, and terminating at the bridge, where I intend erecting a Flour Mill. The length of such race is half a : mile or thereabouts, and its intended course is about North to South. The mean depth and breadth of such race is 3 feet 6 inches, by 1 foot 6 inches, and is capable of carrying 10 Sluice Heads of water. Signature and addreess in full of applicant. JOSIATI C. JONES. W.
