The following is a telegram to the Guardian, dated Gisborne, June 11 :—Much alarm is felt here that Te Kooti is intending to visit Gisborne and carry out another massacre. Tho town is quite unprotected. There is no volunteer corps hero, and only some half dozen mounted constabulary. A public meeting will be held to-night. Some .of the Poverty Bay natives are down, in order to be in communication with Te Kooti.
