DUNSTAN DISTRICT GUN CLUB.
The members of this Club met yesterday (Queen’s Birthday), at Clyde, and had a good days’ sport pigeon shooting. The first 1 match was a handicap of 10 birds each for a trophy, for which 17 competitors tried their skill. This was won by Air Denniston, of Clyde, who killed nine of bis birds. The next was a scratch match, of three birds each, tics to sbootoff. For this match nineteen came forward, and was won by Mr Spencer, of Maniototo, he killing eight birds in succession. The weather though cold, was fine, and as there was no wind it proved favorable for the sport. The following are the scores : Members’ Match for Trophy.
