A Chicago paper tells ns that the married ladies of a Western city have formed a Gome-home husband Club. It is about four feet long, and has a brush on the end of it. A well-known poet calls Ihe British reviewers “ chimney sweeps” in his new poem. The thing is explained by the fact that when they “ flue” at him lie had a “ brush” with them, and they didn’t “ soot” him. Anna Dickinson fays that “ the mad fires of ambition dance in her soul." This is pretty good for a lady who has to soap-stone to bcl with her.
