YOUNG SCUD was got by the far-famed thorough-bred horse Scud, out of Young Currance Lass, by Whalebone out of Wind sor, the property of John Tones, Esq., of Cherry Farm ; great grand dam Windsor was imported from Valparaiso, by John Jones, Esq , thus allowing some of the best blood this side the Line. Loudox Tam is a rich hay horse, rising 6 years old, short and compact, with fine fiat bone, and stands 17 hands high. He was bred by Mr Robert Robson, of Green Leo, Lovell’s Flat, out of bis prize mare Jessie, and gained the first prize at the Tokomairiro Agricultural Society’s Show in 1871 as a one-year old. Jessie was hied in Tasmania, and imported by James Stewart, Esq., and she has gained several first and second prizes at Tokomairiro Shows, both, as a brood and ycld mare. Her sire was the imported horse Sir Colin Campbell, and as a Clydesdale mare she is second to none in Otago. Loudox Tam’s sire was the celebrated horse Marquis. A paddock will be provided free for mares from a distance. All caie taken, but no responsibility. Terms, £4, payable on or before Ist February, 1877—after which an extra £1 will be charged ; Groom’s Fee, 55., payable at first service. Guarantees as per agreement.
