THE difference between the Anucapnic Safety Kerosine Lamp, ind the ordinary lamp is, that instead of >nly having one brass dome or cone above die flume, Mr Rowatt, the Patentee of the low burner, uses two domes, the one inside die other. The inner dome creates the tsual draught of air rushing up to the flame common to all kerosine lumps g but, in addition to that, when the outside dome gets not, it draws up a powerful current of air dirough the space betweenthe names, which meeting the inner current at the flame disposes of all smoke or smell, for whatever of those may escape the first dome is caught ind burned clean by the second one. The lame is the same shape as the ordinary lamp gives, but much more brilliant, white, and steady. A handsome shaped globe, which lever breaks with the heat, shelters the lame from any sudden draught, while a ■imple piece of wire gauze, resting on the ;np of the globe, has the effect of making he flame perfectly steady, preventing down Iranght and keeping it. clear from insects. Hie whole invention consists in the double lome, one inside the other, by which nr•angement the combustion produoenia much nore perfect than that can he git from a diimney lamp. It is perfectly simple and virhont any liability to get out of order, they can be had complete from Cs. each ind upwards. • U‘ ■.
