Loudon Tam is a rich bay horse, rising 6 years old, short and compact, with fine flat hone, and stands 17 hands high. He was bred by Mr Robert Robson, of Green Lee, Lovell’s Flat, out of bis prize mare Jessie, and gained the first prize at the Tokomairiro Agricultural Society’s Show in 1871 as a one-year old. Jessie was hied in Tasmania, and imported by James Stewart, Esq., and she has gained several first and second prizes at Tokomairiro Shows, both as a brood and yeld mare. Her sire was the imported horse Sir Colin Campbell, and as a Clydesdale mare she is second to none in Otago. Loudon Tam’s sire was the celebrated horse Marquis. A paddock will bo provided free for mares from a distance. All care taken, hut no responsibility'.
