LAKES’ DISTRICT JOCKEY CLUB RACES.
—o — The appended particulars of the above Meeting we extract from the Wakatip Mail. The meeting, although not quite equal to those of former years, was made very agreeable. The handicapping gave general satisfaction, and beyond the protests little unpleasantness occurred to mar the sports. The hurdle race caused disgust, and very hard things to be said.
