YOUNG SCUD is a dark chesnut, four years old, stands 164 hands, with good bone, and handsome as a picture. He has proved himself a sure foal tetter, having served a limited number of mares last season and none of them missed. YOUNG SGUD was.got by the far-famed thorough-bred horse Scud, out of Young Currance Lass, by Whalebone out of Wind sor, the property of John Jones, Esq , of Cherry Farm ; great grand dam Windsor was imported from Valparaiso, by John Jones, Esq , thus showing some of the best blood this side the Line. Terms —£3 10s ; Groomage, 55., paid in advance. Guarantees by arrangement; and all demands payable before the Ist of February, 1877, when the season euds. The Pure-bred Clydesdale Entire LOUDON TAM, Loudon Tam is a rich bay horse, rising 6 years old, short and compact, with fine flat bone, and stands 17 hands high. He was bred by Mr Robert Robson, of Green Lee, Lovell’s Flat, out of his prize mare Jessie, and gained the first prize at the Tokomairiro Agricultural Society’s Show in 1871 as a one-year old. J essie was hi ed in Tasmania, and imported by James Stewart, Esq., and she has gained several first and second prizes at Tokomairiro Shows, both as a brood and veld mare. Her sire was the imported horse Sir Colm Campbell, and as a Clydesdale mare she is second to none in Otago. Loudon Tam’s -sire was the celebrated horse Marquis. A paddock will be provided free for mares from a distance. All care taken, but no responsibility. YOUNG CLYDE is a dark chesnut, 18 hands high, rising 9 years old, of immense bone and sinew, and good tempered. Having travelled the Blacks’ district for four years in succession he has, beyond doubt, proved himself the best foal getter in the Province. He is also favorably known in Lawrence and its surrounding districts, where he travelled for the past two seasons' As to his Pedigree comment is unnecessary, his stock comparing well with any in the Province. A 200-acre Paddock, on Glassford’a Swamp, the property of Mr. P Harrii gton, •will be provided for Marcs. The above is securely fenced. All care taken, but no responsibility. TERMS - - 3 10s.
