ST. BATHANS.

(from our correspondent.) Professor Bruce paid our part of the district a visit lately, and though not very successful at St. Bathans, was decidedly so at Cambrian, as besides a numerous attendance at his lecture, numbers “went in” for phrenological charts. The concert in aid of the Cambrian Harmonium Fund promises to be a great success. The programme is one of the best I have se°n for some time, and there is likely to be a large attendance. J. Handysido, Esq., of Lauder Station is to preside. Rev. Mr Hobbes, Incumbent of Nasehy, paid us a visit recently, and has promised us a monthly service. Both here and at Cambrian ho had large congregations.
