Ms R. “ THE DEBTORS’ AND CREDITORS’ ACT, 1875 ” In the Liquidation of the Estate of Edward Charnock and William Barnesthe youngpr,| carrying on business in Copartnership at Clyde, in the province of Otago, as Wheelwrights and Blacksmiths, under the firm of “ Charnock and Barnes,” Debtors. This is to give notice that we the above named Edward Charnock and William Barnes, the younger, have this day filed with the Clerk of the District Court of the Otago Gold Fields at Clyde a statement under the provisions oftheabove mentioned Act, that we are unable to pay our joint and separate debts, and that we desire to have our joint and separate affairs liquidated under the said Act. And we hereby summon a first meeting of our Creditors, to be held at the Court House, Clyde, on the twenty sixth day of June, 1876, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon to consider the propriety of having ■our joint and separate affairs liquidated under the said Act.

Until the appointment of a trustee, all persons having in their possession any of our or either of our effects must deliver them, and all debts due to us or either of us must be paid to the said Clerk of the District Court of the Otago Gold Fields at Clyde aforesaid. Before the appointment of a Trustee, Creditors, to enable them to vote at a meeting, must forward their proofs of debt to the said Clerk. After the appointment of a Trustee the proofs of debt must be forwarded to him.
