WARDEN’S COURT.

Wednesday, May IS. (Before W. L. Simpson, Esq., Warden.) J. R. Campbell and others applied for an extended claim of two acres in Connew.s Gully. Objected to by Lawson and party, on the ground that applicants already held a special claim of 8 acres, and 3 extended claims of 4. 3. and 2 acres respectively, and that they (the objectors) held one acre of the ground applied for under certificate. Evidence having been taken, the Warden said the applicants held quite sufficient ground already, and, amongst other reasons, a portion of the ground applied for being heM under certificate, he would refuse the application.
