IVTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN -L 1 that the Revising Officer will hold a Court for the Revision of the List of Voters of the District of DUNSTAN on Thursday, the 18th day of May, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, at the Court-house, Clyde, At which said Court wi’l be heard and determined all claims duly made to have names inserted in the said List of Voters, and all objections duly made to the names of persons being retained or placed on the Electoral Roll of the said District. The names of persons whose Christian names or whose qua l: Scations shall he wholly omitted, whereby by law required to be specified in the said list, or whose place of abode or the nature or description of whose qualifications are sufficiently described be then supplied. The Revising Officer will also, at the said Cor’t, make such corrections in the said I ’st, and do all such other acts as are required of him by the “ Registration of Electors’ Act, 1866.” Dated at Dunedin this 29th day of April, 1876, W. IN Pursuance of the 14th Section of the “ Licensing Act 1873, Amendment Act, 1874.” I, hereby give notice that the QUARTERLY LICENSING MEETING for the District of Town of Clyde, and Districts of Clyde and Blacks, will be held on TUESDAY, the 6th day of JUNE. 1876, in the Court House, Clyde, at the hour of NOON, for the purpose of taking into consideration all Applications for Certificates for such Licenses as are authorised to be granted at the said meeting of the Licensing Court, and the Transfer, or Renewal, or Removal of Licenses, of which due notice shall have been given to me, for the aforesaid Districts in which the premises in respect of which such Application is made are situated respectively. Application having teen duly made in terms of the Gold mining Regulations, on the 21st December, 1875 : Notice is hereby given that permission has been granted to the nrners in Tinkers, whose water and tailings flow to the common outlet at the junction of the Spottis Creek with the Manuherikia River, to construct a Main Tail Race from said junction along said Spottis Creek, using the natural Channel of said Creek to the point where said Creek branches East and West; hence through Secs. 55, 22, and 23, Block 1., Tiger Hill, in a north-west course to the Sludge Channel Reserve on the Spottis Hundreds ; hence along said Reserve to the point where said Channel Reserve branches towards Tinkers and Matakanui; hence along said Branch Channel Reserves to the boundary of the Hundreds ; and hence, in the one case, through Crown Lands to the foot of Tinker’s Gully, and in the other through Crown Lands to the foot of Farmer’s Gully above Matakanui Station, passing to the west of Mr Glassford's Homestead Freehold. Said Race to be of an average width of 10 feet by 5 feet; the Branch to Farmer’s Gully to he a width of 4 feet by 2 feet. The said Main Tail Race is granted on condition that proper crossings are made on said Race for all Roadways crossed thereby, and that on the Branch leading to Parmer’s Gully such culverts as are required by the Runholder ate constructed for the proper and safe crossing of his sheep.
