"VrOTICE is hereby given, that the 1 provisions of “ The Stamp Fee Act. 1875,” will be brought into opera'ion in the offices of the District Courts throughout the colony, on the Ist April proximo. After that date, all duties, fees, fines, and penalties hitherto payable to Clerks of District Courts in cash, must be paid by means of stamps, impressed or adhesive, as prescribed by the regulations made in pursuance of the said Act, and no cash will thereafter be received for any such fees, &e Stocks of haw Court Stamps may be obtained from the Deputy Commissioners of Stamps and from Depositaries in places where sittings of the 1 'istrict Courts are held Forms ot Summons, Subpoena, He. will be impressed at the Head Office for Solicitors and others, on receipt of Requisition D and Bank receipt for the amount less the authorized discount, together with the forms required to be stamped. VIATED ADDRESSES.-With the view of sa.’ing as much as possible the coat of the transmission of Telegrams to New Zealand from other countries, a Register will be kept, at. every Telegraph Station in New Zealand for the Registration of Arbitrary or Cypher Address -s in the shape of one nr more words. No fee will he charged for registration. Persons registering will require to communicate the Cypher or Arbitrary Address to their Correspondents. The Telegraph Companies rogis'er names and addresses of telegraph correspondents free of charge at all their Stations, and in I ondon at 74, Old Broad-street; 8, Leaden-hall-street ; and 42, Finsbury Circus.
