T HEREBY NOTIFY that John X M'Kenzio and others have applied, under the 12 th Section of the Goldfields Act, for a SPECIAL CLAIM, on the River Molyneux, commencing at that point known as Mutton-town, and extending for a mile downwards, for the purpose of mining thereon with a DREDGE. The said claim is asked for subject to all deferments by debris coming down the river, and also to any such Romany workings that may be in existence, or that may exist on the banks of the river along the said claim. Reasons given for the Application :—That the machinery is labor-saving, and though not absolutely a new system, is one on which large improvements have been made. That, if successful, will, from its cheapness, be generally adopted. Any objection to the above Application must be lodged at my office, Clyde, on or before Tuesday, the 17th February inst. W. L.
