To the Warden at Blacks, -TTTE, the undersigned, being a VV majority in number of pei - - sons f om whose claims water or tail ings flow to a common outlet, at the junction of 'pottis ('reek with the Maimheiikii River, hereby make application for a Main Tail-race, commencing at said junction, running through the Spottis Hundreds and branching at the upper end into two, one brunch to lower end of Tinker’s Gully, and the other to the lower cud of Farmer’s Gully, above Mr Glassford’s Station Buildings. And we declare the following particulars to be true in every respect:— The length of such Race is about eight (8) miles. The average depth is five (5) feet. W. LAURENCE SIMPSON, Warden, > “THE STAMP ACT, 1875.” NOTICE. SECTION 121, (I) of “The Stamp Art, 1875,” provides that every prison taking po-session of, nr receiving or paying any moneys belonging to, or accruing from, the property (realty as well as personalty) of any person dying on and after the Ist of January next, without having first filed the required statement and paid the duties assessed thereon, shall forfeit a sum not exceeding LSOO. Whether probate or letters of administration are granted by any Court or not, a statement of all property must bn filed and duties paid before the property or any part thereof of any deceased person is in any way dealt with. On payment of the proper duties the probate or letters received from the Court, or the statement of property in other cases, will he stamped and delivered to the person entitled thereto. Forms of this statement (I.) maybe obtained at any Stamp Office, at the offices of Registrars and Clerks of the Supremo and District Courts, and fiom the Postmaster Depositaries throughout the colonv, from whom also may be obtained further information, tj o tratater.ton, For the Commissioner of Stamps.
