Wullinoton, 2.35 p.m. Proposals' made by the Opposition that the Abolition Bill be proceeded with, and fairly considered in Committee, and as amended to be finally passed without further opposition, in consideration' that the Act shall not como into operation until the Governor be moved thereto by an address ot both Houses, next Session, have been definitely and absolutely declined by the Government party. This morning the Opposition also held a caucus, but it is believed without coming to any definite decision.
