Nominations for the Alexandra Handicap* and the District Handicap to.be sent in to the Secretary before 8 p.m. on the Bth of September-, enclosing qualifications and nomination money; and acceptances for both H andic.ips, with sweep for the District Handicap, to he sent in before 8 p.m. on the night of general entry the 16 th of September, 1875. Entrances for the Maiden Plate will close on the night of general entry, at 8 p.m. Weights will appear in the Du.vstan Times on the 10th of September, 1875. The winner of the Alexandra, Handicap will carry 7lbs' penalty in the District. ! No person allowed to enter or run a horse in this programme unless he be a subscriber of Ll to the Race Funds, post entry excepted. No entries will be received for any of the above races except upon this condition—That all disputes arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, and them decision final. Benson, of - No. 25, Old Bond-street and of the City Steam Factory, 58 and SO Ludgatn-hill, London. It is enriched and embellished with designs, by Italian, French and English artistes, of brooches, bracelets ear-rings, and other articles, suitable for personal wear, or for wedding, birth-day, or other presents, with their prices. Mr Henson, who holds the appointment to H. R.H. the Prince of Wales, has also pub'ished a very interesting pamphlet on the Rise and Progress of Watchmaking. These pamphlets are sent, post free, for two stamps each, and they cannot to too strongly recommended to those contomplaing a purchase, especially to residents in the country or abroad, who are thus enabled to select any article they may require, and have forwarded in perfect safety.
