M‘Donald didn’t like tho idea of losing the money, and slipped two cards into the pack, claiming a
“ foul.” Texas would not allow the foul, and M‘Donald pioceeded to choke him. Texas said he was not prepared to fight, and M'Donald told him to go and “ heel himself." Texas went off and “heeledhimself" with a navy revolver and came back. M‘ Donald fired two shots then before Texas got ready, but missed, and then firing became lively, and those not directly interested got behind tho bar or out in the street. .Finally M'Donald gol a bullet in his head and fell, and Texas stepped up to him and shot him twice again.
