Coombe’s Right Bower, 5 yrs, 7st 101b 2 Nosworthy’s Traitor, 4 yrs, Bst 71b 3 White's Adas, aged, Bst 4 Templeton won easily, Right Bower second. Ngaro and Earl of Lynne were nowhere. Traitor stood first favorite at starting. Time, 4min lOfsec. Newmarket Stakes of CO sovs. One mile and a distance. Mr Delamaine’s Elfin King, 3 yrs, 7st 131bs 1 Cipt. Hutchison’s Spvitsail, 4yrs, Bst 1 libs 2 Publicans’ Handicap of 100 sovs,, with a sweepstakes of 3 sovs. added. Second horse to receive swoop. One mile and a quarter. Mr Delamame’s Templeton, 4 yrs, 9st 1 Capt. Hutchison’s King Philip, 3 yrs, 7st 7ibs 2 Mr Noawovthy’s Tadinor, 3 yrs, 7st 71b 3 King Philip ran a good second.

Jockey Club Handicap of 200 sovs., with sweepstake of 5 sovs. added. One mile and three quarters. Master Rowe’s Produce Stakes, a sweepstake of three sovs., with a silver cup of 100 sovs., the gift of Mr Pritchard for two-year old colts, the produce of Master Rowe. Mr Blatch’s Esher 1 Forbury Handicap of 100 sovs., with sweepstake of 5 sovs. Second horse to receive stake. Won by Right Bower, after a splendid race with the favorite Tadmor.
