Prince Charley gained Ist Prize at tho Taicri Agricultural Show, as a foal, in ISC-1; gained Ist Prize at the Agricultural Show in 1565, as a oue-ycar old ; gained 2nd Prize at the Dunedin Agricultural Show in 1800, as a two-year old. His sire is tho well known Old Prince Charley, of Australia. His dam Jessy, imported in 18G3, by Messrs Emary and Straohan, from Tasmania ; and the same year gained the Taicri Agricultural Society’s Ist prize for the best Colonial Marc ; and 2nd Prize for being tho beat marc in tho yard, beating Mr Nimmo’a Black Wave, imported direct from Scotland ; in the following years took quizes at tho Taieri and Dunedin.
