His sire is tho well known Old Prince Charley, of Australia. His dam Jessy, imported in 18G3, by Messrs Emary and Straohan, from Tasmania ; and the same year gained the Taicri Agricultural Society’s Ist prize for the best Colonial Marc ; and 2nd Prize for being tho beat marc in tho yard, beating Mr Nimmo’a Black Wave, imported direct from Scotland ; in the following years took quizes at tho Taieri and Dunedin.
