Architect took First Prize at Campbelltown, Melton Mowbray, and Northern Agricultural Shows in Tasmania, and First Prize at Blueskin Show. His oldest stock in Tasmania are three years old, and show great breeding and size ; —said to be the best horses in the island of Tasmania. YOUNG PRINCE CHARLIE is a rich roan, rising four years, old, and was got by Prince Charley. Dam, Maggie, an imported raare from Tasmania. Prince Charley gained Ist Prize at tho Taicri Agricultural Show, as a foal, in ISC4 ; gained Ist Prize at the Agricultural Showin 1865, as a one-year old; gained 2nd Prize at the Dunedin Agricultural Show in ISC6, as a two-year old. His sire is tho well known Old Prince Charley, of Australia. His dam Jessy, imported in 1563, by Messrs Emary and Strachan, from Tasmania ; and the same year gained tho Taieri Agricultural Society’s Ist prize for the best Colonial Mare ; and 2nd Prize for being the beat mare in the yard, beating MrNiramo’a Black Wave, imported direct from Scotland ; ui the following years took prizes at the Taieri and Dunedin.
