IN Pursuance of the 14th Section of the Licensing Act, 1873, Amendment Act, 1874, I hereby give notice that the Quarterly LICENSING MEETING for the Town of Clyde, and Districts of Clyde, Alexandra, Roxburgh, and Black’s, will be held en Tuesday, the Ist day of December, 1874, in the respective Court Houses of each District at the hour of Noon, for the purpose of taking into consideration all Applications for Certificates for such Licenses as are authorised to be granted at tho said meetings of the Licensing Courts, and the Transfer or Renewal or Removal of Licenses, of which due notice shall have been given to me, for the aforesaid Districts in which the premises in respect of which such Application is made are situated respectively, A. D. HARVEY, Clerk to Licensing Court. Clyde, Oct. 20, 1874. FOR SALK. A 16 ft. WATER WHEEL, 30 inches breast, with wrought iron cant re s and axle, 9 feet drum aud frame, also, a 75 feet California pump 14x2i, with double set of bottom rollers, and new belt. SEALED TENDERS will be received by tho Alexandra Presbyterian Church Committee, up to 7th DECEMBER, at NOON; for removing the Manse from the Dunstan Flat, and re-erecting it in Alexandra. The WALLS to be of STONE instead of Timber as at present. Specifications to bo seen with Mr BERESFORD, Alexandra Tenders to be endorsed "Tenders,” and lodged with the undersigned. THE ASSESSMENT for the Year 1874-5 having been allowed by the Gmncil, the same is deposited, and may be daily inspected at my Office by any person interested therein, up to the sth of December next, between the hours of 11 a.m., and 2 p.m., on payment of One Shilling. All Notices of Appeal, in the Form of Scheduleß of the “ Ot«go Municipal Corporations’ Ordinance, 1865,’” must be lodged with me, at my Office, on or before Noon of tho said sth December.
