The reason ol such application being that, the applicants are constructing a head water-race, 27 miles in length, to carry 20 heads of water, at an expenditure of about £6,000. Any person desiring to object to the said Application must lodge their objections at the Court House, Clyde, on or before Thursday, September ■24, 1874, when parties will be heard in support of the application and to the objections, (if any.) The Claim has been surveyed, and the Plans may be seen at my Office, Clyde. The reason of such application being that, the applicant, William Green has invented a new pumping machine.
