WARDEN’S COURT, CLYDE.
TiiunsiiAv, July SO. (Before W. L. Simpson, Esq., Warden.) Jean Desire Fcraud.—Application for four heads of water from the Wai Kori Keri Valiev.
An objection was lodged by the Clyde Corporation.
The Warden said the rights to the water from the Wai Keri Keri were sub judioc ; therefor lie would not consider the application until the decision of the Appeal Court had been given in the case “Fcraud v. Holt.”
Application by Robert Watson for right to extend tail race, also for an aero claim in Counew’s Gully, both of which were opposed by Jlastio and party, wore postponed pending the surveyor’s making a survey of the ground.
Alexander M‘Lood lodged an application for an area for stacking tailings on ; but afterwards withdrew it, on being informed that lie would have to get it surveyed, in accordance xi idi Regulation 9 of the Gold-fields Rules and Regulations, the cost of which would be about three guineas.
