Ids.,' six months is awarded ; but to the man Boynon, convicted on the clearest evidence of a base and dastardly attempt to ruin bis mate’s wife to satisfy bis unlawful pasion, the trivial punishment of one month’s imprisonment will be given. No wonder set■ prise was felt and expressed at the disparity of the sentences, and more particularly at the extraordinary summing up of the learned judge in the lust named case.
