The Bruce Herald—“We find in late Parliamentary papers a telegram from tiro Superintendent of Otago re the “ Asiatics,” dated 4th Juno, addressed to the Premier, complaining “ I can got no ship to take them homo and, in default of this, says a Vi ellington paper, ho applies for authority to spend £230 in erecting a high wall round the female depot in order to prevent their climbing over, and making themselves a nuisance to the neighbourhood. The Preluier sanctioned the amount.
