ALEXANDRA TOWN COUNCIL.
A spoci.il meeting of the Council was held in the Council Chambers on the 2Sth ultimo for the purpose of receiving the tenders for the Corporation Water-race. A full meeting of the Council was present. The only tender sent in was from Terry and party, offering 130/,, which was accepted by the Council. The ordinary meeting of the Council took place on the 2Jth ultimo, at which a full Council were present. The inward correspondence was read and received, consisting of a letter from Mr J. Hazlett. M.P.C., in reference to the grant of money applied for from the Covcinment for ihe Terry Hoad , from the Superin'eadent iu reference to the road from Batcher's Gidly to Clyde ; from Michael Galvin James Hartley, and William Gari’oy, making application to have then; names placed on die Electoral Id si. was refer, cd io the Revis’d) Court Resolved that the Revision Como ha hehl at noon nr Monday the 13 111 of July mui the nonrnatio.i f:n the Alice of Mayor take place m Tuesday the 1-ith o f July.
