A carcf.il bridegroom in New York kept the wedding ring in his mouth during the forepart of the ceremony, so that ho could find it when the proper moment arrived. He mumbled along all right until the minister winked, ns a hint to produce the ring, when in his nervousness he swallowed it, and there being no stomach-pump on hand, lie was stood on his head by three groomsmen to recover the “gulden pledge.”
