Wilson.— Claim \U. 9s. The summons was returned not served, as 'defendant could not ho found. Police v. Hawthoro.—Neglecting to cover an old cellar. Dismissed, the cellar having been fenced in immediately defendant was told of liability. Police v. Eames .—Permitting a nuisance on his premises by tha accumulation of a heap of manure ; dismissed as the heap was being remove I. The magistrate stated that stable manure could net be styled a nuisance. DISTRICT LAND COURT, CLYDE. o—(Before W. L. Simpson, Esq.) The application of Franris Woodhouse for section 6 Block II f, Teviot district, and Andrew Young, section 1, Block 111, Teviot district were granted ; also, application of P. Sloan, section 22, Block V, Tiger hill district was granted. Valuation for fencing being acceded to.
