T HEREBY give notice that Pierce I Carroll and party on the 20th January, 1873 made application for a Special Claim of 3 Acres of ground in Butcher's Gully on tho South side of the main road from Alexandra to Teviot, and about 50 yards up the Gully from where the said road crosses it, and extending up the said Gully about 385 yards, under and in terms of tho 12 th Section of the Gold Fields Act, 18C6. The Claim has been surveyed, and the plans may be seen at my Office, Clyde.
